If you're willing to plunk down $5,000, you can be a guest in a complete stranger's home, no matter what kind of felonies you might be wanted for.Mumon Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01116967568502451788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7756920.post-8841064460616159302010-11-09T14:41:09.008-08:002010-11-09T14:41:09.008-08:00Technically, Merzel's current deal is $5000 fo...Technically, Merzel's current deal is $5000 for 10 people for 2 days:
http://bigmind.org/Genpo_Roshi_in_Salt_Lake_City_Big_Mind_Dec.html

His old deal was $50,000 (or later $25,000) for 5 people for 5 days.

So his current plan is 1/4 the price per day of the original but still $2500/day.Duffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08800425116422980923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7756920.post-53128718526952354742010-11-09T12:12:09.206-08:002010-11-09T12:12:09.206-08:00Merzel doesn't live in the zen center. And, when he's in Maui -- where he is more and more -- he lives in a nice condo. All of the residences I'm sure are listed as owned by BMZC, but he still gets to live in them (the cabin the mtns is especially nice).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7756920.post-88098072214819253912010-11-09T08:03:35.267-08:002010-11-09T08:03:35.267-08:00Petteri:

When we talk about Buddha nature being rare in hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, I understand that to be metaphorical, myself.Mumon Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01116967568502451788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7756920.post-11891535185235431632010-11-09T05:12:00.810-08:002010-11-09T05:12:00.810-08:00Re The Zennist, I think I'll go with Vasubandh...Re The Zennist, I think I'll go with Vasubandhu. He said that holding that there is a permanent self and holding that there isn't a permanent self are both erroneous views.

(He does seem to be getting weirder by the day. Did you notice his posts where he was saying that the Big Bang and black holes are fictional, and that humans have been around for hundreds of millions of years?)Brikoleurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01318706625291447339noreply@blogger.com
