One last word on Armstrong Williams...

I had been wondering why the Bush administration decided on using Armstrong Williams to shill the "No Child Left Behind Policy," and one obvious reason was that because somehow the White House folks thought that this would help gain ground with African American votes.

I guess another reason is that Michael Jackson wouldn't have any credibility pushing a law called "No Child Left Behind."

...in addition to being a pundit, Williams, a leading African-American conservative and Clarence Thomas protege, is a PR specialist with his own firm. Not too long ago, Michael Jackson called him for advice.


If only Williams had punted to Jackson at the right time...
