Then again, the Atlantic often gets a bit too DLC for my taste




Why James Fallows has a job doing what he's doing is often beyond me.

Anyway, this article makes the case for a Democratic president presiding over an economic collapse set up by a Repub in office.

Now, the problem is, yeah, the Repubs are setting us up for an economic collapse.

But the Dems are not so beholden to "special interests" that they're not going to do the right thing when the time comes.

And they'll never, never, elect somebody nicknamed "the Preacher" as president.
