On Leaving Home...

My mother's conditioned has worsened and I probably won't be going to see her again before she dies; she's seriously ill.

I have left home.

I will not be able to see her in her last moments, though I did see her a couple of weeks ago.


She could go at any time. But I think my responsibility is to the living, and to her, I will honor her memory with realizing and using the best of what she has given me. And give that best and much more to the rest of my family.
