Umm...historical sidenote on Gingrich

This political obit of DeLay glosses over an important part of history:

eLay is quitting for the same reason that Democratic House Speaker Jim Wright quit after Republican Newt Gingrich helped expose his sleazy book deal.

And he's quitting for the same reason Gingrich quit after coming under attack from DeLay and others in the wake of Gingrich's own sleazy book deal and other controversies.

Those "other controversies" were that Larry Flynt had the goods on Newt Gingrich's sexual escpades (as well as Bob Livingston, who came after Gingrich).

So now how many Republican speakers of the House had ethical problems?
